About Me
My name is Zack. I'm from Colorado, with half my family originally from Chile.
I'm a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Santa Cruz in the Theoretical Computer Science group working under Alex Kolla.
I love math, computer science, and the intersection of the two: theoretical computer science.
I did my undergrad at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where I graduated with a BS in computer science and a double minor in applied math and pure math.

Quantum Computing, Algebra, Complexity, Algorithms, Approximations
Hobbies
Outside of school, I like to Whitewater Kayak and Ski.
For kayaking, some notable sections I've done are the Colorado classics Bailey Canyon and Gore Canyon (both are class IV-V).
Then in California, I ran The South Fork of the Feather (class IV-V), The Forks of the Kern (Class V), and The Cataracts of the Kern (Class V).
For skiing, In Colorado, I've done Dragontail Couloir and Silvers Coulior (one of the 50 classic descents of North America).
